The Certified Aging Services Professional (CASP) certification program is no longer offered by the University of North Texas and the Coalition for Leadership in Aging Services.

I am currently enrolled in the CASP program; can I still get my certification?

UNT is committed to ensuring all current candidates enrolled in the program have the opportunity to obtain their certification as long as all requirements are met by December 31, 2014.  Please contact CLAS@unt.edu with any questions about completing the certification requirements.

 

What is the deadline for current candidates to complete the CASP program?

The deadline is December 31, 2014; however, the deadline to complete the program and receive NAB credit was July 31, 2014.  For a copy of a certificate, please contact CLAS@unt.edu.

 

How can someone register for the CASP program?

As of May, 2014 UNT is no longer offering CASP certification and therefore is not accepting new candidates.

 

I am an active CASP graduate.  Can I recertify?

Because the CASP program is no longer offered, recertification applications are not being accepted at this time.

 

Where will CASP be going and who will be running it in the interim?

LeadingAge has acquired the rights to the CASP curriculum but there are no plans to offer the certification program in its current form.
